Being Church means to acknowledge that we are called to become “the People of God in accordance with the great plan of love of our Father” (Evangelii Gaudium, 114). For this reason, Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi invites everyone to experience pilgrimage as a metaphor of existence, an inner journey to the heart to find the true face of God which consists in peace, joy and forgiveness.

Undertaking a pilgrimage means giving ourselves the chance to rethink our life and be inflamed by new experiences. As well as offering careful practical organization throughout the pilgrimage, each pilgrim can also count on the presence of a spiritual assistant who will offer accurate attention and care to each pilgrim along the “walk of faith”. Time for silence and meditation on the Gospel are given to the pilgrim as a source of inspiration and prayer.
