Our aims
In discovering the History, Art and Traditions of the places that we visit, all ORP itineraries are characterized by the contemplation of sites of natural beauty and by deepening our faith and our cultural understanding of the local communities and their own faith experience. Seeing places. Observing faces. Listening to sounds and noises, perceiving fragrances and odors, tasting foods and flavours. Treading the ground of the places that we visit. While on a pilgrimage, the experiences that are imprinted in our heart and in our senses join with the memories of the beautiful faces with which we cross paths along our journey. Because “evangelization also involves the path of dialogue”. (Evangelii Gaudium, 238)
Vatican Council II rediscovered pilgrimage in the Church as a privileged tool and place for catechesis and Evangelization. After many years of activity and people we have met, that we have accompanied and come to know, we wish to put all of our experience to work in order to offer solutions that can satisfy the needs of those choosing to undertake a pilgrimage. Our solutions can be considered as itineraries, journeys of discovery, walks, but are above all a pilgrimage, one of the most significant moments in a person’s life. As Church and as a Community in Christ we are urged to inform people about the Christian way of living, sure that each person will thus find answers to his or her most authentic and deep desires.
